Library Closure & Temporary Arrangements in One Stop Centre

The scale of this construction project means that the current library building will need to close at the end of this year, and the building will not reopen until early 2010.

We want to continue to meet the needs of our customers during this time by providing a temporary library service.

From early 2009 we will be operating a small library service from the ground floor of the Garforth One Stop Centre, directly across the road from the current library.

We will need to empty the current building during December in time for construction work to begin in January, and so services will be "winding down" during this time.

The library opening hours for December 2008, and from early 2009 in the One Stop Centre, will be as follows:

Monday: 10:00 - 7:00
Tuesday: 9:00 - 5:00
Wednesday: 9:00 - 1:00
Thursday: 9:00 - 7:00
Friday: 9:00 - 5:00
Saturday: 9:00 - 4:00
